It's April FOOLS DAY!!!

YES!!! as Janet so early on today guessed.....this has been a hoax! I have very cruely all day been sitting here watching to see which cards you have completed and then changing them on you....HA!! Anyone else think this is funny?? I hope y'all had fun today....and just for being good sports...everyone who attempted ANY of our cards today will receive TWO entries in Aprils drawing....so...don't be shy, if you got any of them done, go ahead and link em up by midnight tonight (april 1)! Leaving the rest of the post up for anyone else who stumbles along to get a good laugh today......

Yes..it is a new month here at If the Shoe Fits.....SO...I have decided to give you a run for your money today (yes, i said TODAY!) Scrapbooking on a Budget!

Good Monday morning everyone! Hope you guys had a great weekend. This is the last post for the month of March. I hope you guys have enjoyed following our blog so far.



I know that for me, I'm always looking for ways to organize my scrapbooking supplies. Organizing your scrapbook supplies can get expensive. So, I was wondering what could I store my brads all in 1 place? Then I was at my local Wal-mart in the tool section and found this. The price was right also, only $10.00! When I got home I couldn't wait to organize my brads. Here is the pics of my find.

You can also hang this on the wall, if you don't have the shelf space. That is what I did with mine. Hope you guys enjoy! Have an awesome Monday!!!

Happy Happy Friday!!! Woohoo! The weekend is upon us! AND...this is our official LAST challenge of March! So....in honor of Tony Stewart, our colors are going to be Black, Red, and White! (gee...wonder which DT member is writing this one....LOL!)


Deadline for this one is going to be March 31 at midnight ET....yes...it is a shortened deadline, but this has to be wrapped up by the end of the month so we can draw a winner! Happy Wednesday...and now a Card Challenge

Hello fabulous people! I'm very excited because it is Wednesday and that means the week is half over! We're ya'll as excited to hear the news of our new sponsor as I was??? We are very lucky to have some wonderful friends out there!!!

Now...on to today's card challenge! I was recently perusing the internet (blog hopping) and have been seeing a LOT of cards and LO's and tags and stuff that has a great deal of embossing!

Your challenge for this week is to create a card that has been embossed at least twice. The embossing can be dry, heat, liquid, etc. Using powder, plates, stencils, etc...emboss as you see fit!

Same Supplies Challenge...AND...some big news!!!

Happy Monday everyone!!! Hope everyone has been enjoying all of our challenges here so far, I know I have LOVED seeing all the fabulous projects you have all been submitting, brings on the warm-fuzzies to see all the participation!!!
Today, I am sharing a challenge we as the design team had for ourselves!!! I went shopping at one of my fav LSS's and picked out matching kits and challenged the rest of the team. We all had the same kits, and were allowed to add a minimal amount of our own stash. The results? Well...I think it speaks for itself...4 totally different layouts!!!
This specific kit consisted of 2 sheets of patterned paper from sassafrass lass, 2 sheets of bazill cardstock, 18 inches of basic basic ribbon, 3 bazill basics large red paper flowers, and a random assortment of buttons!

Card Challenge Wednesday- Easter Themed

Happy Hump Day!!! So glad the work week is half over now.

Ok, with Easter coming up right around the corner, I thought we could all have a little bit of fun with this challenge. The challenge for today is to make an Easter themed card, it can be any size you want. So, get out all those bright and cheerful colors and hope it might get us into the feel of spring. Get those creativity juices flowing!! Don't forget to check back with us Friday for Lesley's Color Challenge.

Monday Challenge ~ St. Patty's Day ATC's

Well happy Monday to all! I know, I know, we all hate Monday's right? Well hopefully I can brighten your Monday just a bit, no not with a pot o' gold, but with an ATC challenge!!

ATC stands for Artistic Trading Card. ( If you google it, you will find so many examples as well). The only rules that usually apply to them is that it be 3.5 by 2.5, the size of a playing card. Too easy right?

Well the challenge for today is to make an ATC using the St. Patty's Day theme. Worried that this won't fit into your scrapbooking? It most definitely will. You can use these as an embellishment for any crafting, card or altering project and most definitely your Layouts.

Green is going to be the color of choice, of course! Make sure to use your friendly Mr. Linky and leave a comment or two or three, lol! We always love to hear from you all.

This will be Due the 25th of March, and your name will be put in a drawing for some goodies at the end of the month!

Color Challenge Time!

Well one and all, its FRIDAY!!!! I can't say as its been a horrible week (except all the sickness going around) but heck, any reason to celebrate and Friday is always a great one! Just a heads up, you have until Tuesday at midnight to enter this weeks Card Challenge and until the end of the month to submit to our Sketch Challenge. This Color Challenge will go until Thursday, March 19th at midnight!

The winner of last weeks Color Challenge is..... JANET!!! We all thought her card was just too cute to pass up! Congrats!
