And then we will be back with a new look! We are so looking forward to returning to our regularly scheduled posts and challenges, along with some exciting changes in our DT! We are all very excited to get the opportunity to welcome more Guest Designers, and getting to know all of you better! Just a few more days!

We here at the Shoe want to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in the online crop we hosted over the past weekend over in our Ning! The DT had a blast hosting all the challenges and getting to play in some of them too! It was a great opportunity for us to get to know some of our members better, and we can't wait to do it all again! All winners of challenges have been posted, so take a moment to check out everything our members created and to congratulate the winners!

Have no fear...we are not leaving you hanging this week...some new challenges have been posted in the Ning...including a fantastic Freedom ATC challenge! So take a chance, take a look, and get hooked like the rest of us! LOL!

How are you all?? We here at the Shoe are enjoying our little Blog-cation...and are looking forward to being back to business soon! Until then...don't forget we have our fabulous Crop going on this weekend over in our Ning forum! The crop officially kicks off today at Noon! There will be plenty of fun challenges to get your creative juices going...and have I mentioned the FANTABULOUS prizes??? Every challenge will be offering a prize! Yes...this will in fact be our last challenge of the month until we relaunch in July with some new and exciting changes and additions! Woohoo Wednesday Card Challenge!

Woohoo it's Wednesday! Wow...time sure flies when you are having fun! I'll get to this weeks card challenge after a few announcements:

We will still be hosting challenges over at the Ning...so you'll still get your weekly dose of motivation, fun and excitement! • THIS JUST IN...the DT here at the Shoe will be hosting an online crop the weekend of June 25th-28th! Now...to join in the crop you will need to be a member of the Ning...so what are you waiting for??? Go join! We will kick off the crop on Thursday, June 25th and it will run until Sunday, June 28th! Just another Manic Monday....

And time for more challenges and fun here at the SHOE! Party! HEEHEE! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend...I'll get to today's challenge here shortly...first a couple of quick announcements:

We are going on vacation! That's right...the ladies behind the scenes here at the Shoe will be taking a much needed blogging vacation! Our vacation dates will be June 20th-July 6th...we will return on the 6th with lots of fun stuff! Never fear...our little elves will still be working diligently away...to help bring the Shoe a new look!

Our Design Team is growing! New members have been added and on July 6th you will officially meet them! Most of you will recognize them from around our Ning...for some it might be your first meeting! We will also be adding the Guest Designer starting July 6th! Can't wait to see what Nicole has in store for us!

What does all this mean??? Well...during our vacation, several of our regularly scheduled challenges will be featured in the forums of our Ning...so never fear...you will still have the opportunity to get your mojo going!

Dads are the bomb, Wednesday card challenge!!

So who doesn't love their Dad? I know I did, and it has been a little over a year since he has passed. So, I celebrate Father's day even more with my husband as if I were celebrating two fathers and he gets twice the gifts. I really go all out for him, except for this one year.... Oh but that's a whole other talk show.

This challenge is about the celebration of fathers and what they mean to us. Whether they be your husband, brother or uncle, if they are some one's father and you think they do a great job at it, celebrate them. Even if they are no longer with us, celebrate their spirit and remember them and all they meant to you.

Father's Day is June 21st, so let get some cards done to show them our appreciation. Once you have made your card(s) make sure to upload them in Mr. Linky so that you may be put in for out June monthly Drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate to one of our favorite scrap stores and soon to be yours Scrap-a-doodle-doo!
